What are the Awards?

There are two main types of awards: the Sector Awards and the Student Panel Awards. Every single award within these two categories is voted on and determined exclusively by students, a fact that makes our graduate recruitment awards event unlike any other. In addition, there’s also the Engineering Undergraduate of the Year Award and the AGCAS Award.

The Sector Awards

These awards recognise the most popular graduate recruiters in the following twenty sectors. The winner of each award will be determined by an online student poll conducted by trendence with over 75,000 responses.

The Student Panel Awards

Early next spring we will host an independently adjudicated event in which carefully selected final year students will come together for a day to decide who wins the following six awards:

The best student marketing campaign for organisations recruiting fewer than 50 graduates a year
The best student marketing campaign for organisations recruiting 50 or more graduates a year
The best graduate recruitment website
The best undergraduate internship/vacation programme
The best on-campus innovation
The diversity recruitment award

The Graduate Employer of the Year

Unique award and the climax of the evening, the graduate employer of the year is open to all shortlisted organisations across all sectors.

The Engineering Undergraduate of the Year Award

Engineering departments from universities across the UK will nominate outstanding undergraduates who will compete in a series of tests to decide the Engineering Undergradaute of the Year. The winner will be announced on the night and win a paid internship with the sponsoring organisation.

The AGCAS Award

Voted by university careers services, this award recognises best practice in graduate recruitment.
